Paulina Porizkova is a Czech-born, Swedish-American model, actress, and author. She rose to prominence in the 1980s, becoming one of the world's highest-paid models.
Born in Prostějov, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic) in 1965, Porizkova immigrated to Sweden as a child. Her modeling career began in Paris, and she quickly gained international recognition, appearing on the covers of magazines like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Vogue.
